Hand made ceramic Tidal Pool dishes made with locally gathered sea glass.

Dimensions (approx): Width 6-8cm. Height 2.5cm

Ceramic vessels and sculpture made with stoneware clays often coloured with oxides and textured with locally gathered materials, such as sand and seaglass.

These pieces are usually left completely unglazed so that the visual and tactile qualities of the clay itself can be fully appreciated.

Bowls and vessels are not designed to be suitable for use with food but are ideal to display objects gathered from walks along the coastline.

E.J.Laven’s portfolio includes painting, sculpture and ceramics. Much of her work has, at its core, a deep-rooted love of coastal landscapes and an interest in collections of natural objects, curios and artefacts.
