What will we make?
Across the 6 weeks you will be learning my techniques in to paper mache, no more wallpaper paste or dipping paper into bowls of glue!
We will be making 3 items across the 6 weeks starting with the basic techniques of paper mache, we will start by making a bowl.
Then moving onto simple paper sculpting, I will guide you step by step to making a small bird.
Then finally we will progress on to the main piece a large duck. Which will also include some decorating techniques
Level of experience:
No previous experience is required
What can I bring to the event?
Materials are supplied. But you may wish to bring in coloured or printed papers to decorate your final piece.

This workshop is being delivered by Lynsey Hyland, a local artist, with a background in Children’s Television (Art Attack, Mister Maker, My World Kitchen, HOW, Popcast & The Markery) and is also a Canterbury Tour Guide.
Lynsey runs a small business called Creative Mash Ups from her home in Faversham. Creating fun and quirky paper mache sculpted creatures - Hares, Birds, Rats & Octopus. She also creates needle felted animals as well as miniature scenes in vintage clocks and book nooks, which are sold locally.
