Local Talent - Pop-Up Fringe Festival (PUFF)
We're seeking to enhance activities available in Canterbury during the Canterbury Festival, with a focus on supporting Kent based talent and a relaxed attitude to programming.
Check here to keep up to date with the programme, expect changes. A number of tickets for each event will be held back to allow for ‘walk-in’s to encourage that sense of serendipity.
Saturday 16th October - 2pm

Sunday 17th October - 2pm

Interactive Performance: Richard Navarro presents: 'The Greatest Album Never Made'
Using found objects, fortunate events and possibly beautiful recollections from the audience, the songwriter Richard Navarro will attempt to write and perform a brand new album completely in the moment.
Appearing a week before his band's immersive show 'Tingbao' debuts at the main Canterbury Festival on Sunday 24th October, expect insights into the songwriting process and possibly (just possibly) a handful of beautiful and inspired never-heard-before new songs...
Saturday 23rd October - 6-8pm
Event: Live Improv Comedy with Plus Support (Age 18+)
Plus Support Improv are excited to bring their popular fringe show, tailored to the town you’re in, to Rock Paper Scissors.
Banterbury! is an entirely improvised comedy created from YOUR suggestions! Set in an entirely fictional town that’s possibly entirely similar to the one you’re in, expect mayhem, games, secrets, laughs, and maybe.....pilgrims?!
